Parent Partnership

You Are Your Child's Most Important Teacher. We're Here to Help You Thrive in That Role.

Parenting a young child is one of the most rewarding — and overwhelming — roles you'll ever take on. You want to know your child is growing, learning, and loved every single day. At Divine Savior Academy, we don't just care for your child while you're away. We partner with you to keep you informed, equipped, and connected every step of the way.

You Stay in the Loop — Every Day.

We maintain open, consistent communication about your child's daily routines, activities, and moments that matter. No more wondering what they did all day.

  • Infants and Toddlers: Daily reports
  • Chat with teachers face-to-face daily at pickup and drop-off

You See Real Progress.

Using HighScope's Key Developmental Indicators (KDIs), we track each child's growth across cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. You receive photos, videos, and detailed notes that capture your child's milestones as they happen.

  • Examples of your child's progress sent home weekly
  • Compiled portfolio of long term progress three times per year
  • Teachers ready for any questions or discussions you might need

You Feel Confident at Home.

We offer parent workshops, curated resources, and collaborative opportunities designed to help you extend learning beyond the classroom. What happens at school and what happens at home work together — and we'll show you how.

  • Workshop topics such as literacy and child development
  • Curated resources like author lists, book recommendations, and suggested articles
  • One-on-one time with teachers at parent-teacher conferences

You're Part of a Community That Cares.

At DSA, you're not just enrolling your child — you're joining a family of educators and parents who share your values and are cheering for your whole family's success.

  • Events for the whole family such as Bedtime Stories, Family Picnic, Field Day, and Holiday Events
  • Share experiences with other parents who are in your same stage of life
  • A loving community ready to welcome you at Divine Savior Church

DSA really taking the time to understand parents, kids and their needs is just another thing that I notice and am so grateful for. Those parent workshops that DSA started all in attempts to continue to help parents and kids as we go through this journey, is beyond what I ever thought a "school" would encompass or provide.
